At the beginning of each strategic round the order in which players take the player's rounds is established.
The players will than take the player's rounds in that order.
When all players had their round, usually the next strategic round will start immediately except:
If all but two players are resting or this was the third strategic round played since the first player became resting, than the battles are resolved before the next strategic round starts.

The strategic rounds are the heart of the strategic part of the game. Movement
on the map and recruitment all take place here. The battle take care of the
tactical element in form of Warmaster battles.
